Escalation Engine

SalesIQ automatically monitors your pipeline for leads that need attention. Overdue follow-ups, stale leads, and uncontacted leads are flagged and escalated to managers.

Escalation Types

๐Ÿ”ด Overdue Follow-ups

Leads where the scheduled follow-up date has passed without any activity logged. Threshold: 24 hours past due date.

nextFollowup < today AND no recent activity

๐ŸŸ  Stale Leads

Leads with no activity for an extended period. These need re-engagement or stage reassessment.

No activity in 7 days AND stage is not Won/Lost

๐ŸŸก No Contact

New leads that have never been contacted. These are the highest priority โ€” every hour counts.

Stage = 'New Lead' AND created > 48 hours ago AND zero activities

How It Works

  1. Automated Daily Scan: A cron job runs daily at 2:30 PM IST, scanning all open leads for escalation triggers.
  2. Manual Check: Managers can click "Run Check Now" on the Escalation Dashboard anytime.
  3. Dashboard Alerts: Escalated leads appear on the Escalation Dashboard with type, assignee, and last activity date.
  4. Notification: Managers receive in-app notifications for critical escalations.

Navigate to Dashboard โ†’ Escalations to see:

  • โ€ข Summary cards showing count of each escalation type
  • โ€ข List of escalated leads with assignee, stage, and last activity
  • โ€ข Quick actions: reassign, change stage, log activity
  • โ€ข "Run Check Now" button for on-demand scanning
