SalesIQ automatically checks for duplicate leads by matching phone numbers across three fields:

  • โœ“ Primary phone number
  • โœ“ Alternate phone number
  • โœ“ WhatsApp number

When a duplicate is detected (via webhook or manual creation), SalesIQ logs a "Lead Re-captured" activity on the existing lead instead of creating a duplicate. This ensures your pipeline stays clean.

New leads are automatically assigned using load-balanced round-robin:

  1. System finds all active sales team members (Executives, Managers, Company Master)
  2. Counts current open leads for each person
  3. Assigns the new lead to the person with the fewest active leads
  4. Logs assignment in the lead's activity timeline
